Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
What is the strand of brightness
That to which u hold on
A slimmer of hope, a strand of rope
Past be the time of glory
Of a Sun that lays deep in slumber
Night is the mother that tries to fondle
Caress u into a wealth of comfort
Yet you linger on....latching on
fumbling in the darkness
No light showing you way
Paths u meander in darkness....
Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
Thots lay bare, untold and fair
Of a twisty past oft sad yet there
Memories that strung together to hold
A lace that wrung tightly to fold
Stories adorn the path stones and pebbles
Stumble on yet I do past the rubbles
Till reach I thought I did
The strand of light that held morbid
Dawned that lay ahead long and winding
Path hidden behind, under and over unending
Yet lingers the strand of light
Afar, but within reach, trod on I must!
Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

Great poem..
Takes you to an unknown bridge .. wondering whether the search is for a past love that is mortal or immortal.. perhaps flirting with both?
